Notices of Impounded Livestock

To Whom it May Concern: You are hereby notified the following described livestock is now impounded at the Polk County Sheriff's Office in Winter Haven, Florida.  If you own the described livestock below, contact the Agricultural Crimes Unit at 863-534-7205 to claim the animal(s).

Pursuant to Florida State Statute 588.17 (4) (B); If the owner is unknown or cannot be located, obtain service upon the owner by publishing a notice on the Sheriff’s or the county Animal Control Center’s website. If the livestock is not redeemed within a time frame to be established by the authorized agency, which shall be a period of at least 3 business days, the livestock will be offered for adoption or humanely disposed of.

Hog located near Lakeland

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office Agriculture Crimes Unit needs assistance in locating the owner of this female, Duroc cross hog, which was found in the 300 block of Bracey Road near Lakeland.
